Bruno Mascello is Adjunct Professor of Business Law and Legal Management as well as Vice Director at the Executive School of Management, Technology and Law (ES-HSG) of the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland. He is also Director of the Executive Diploma Programme in Management for the Legal Profession (MLP-HSG), which provides executive managerial education at the intersection of law and management to participating lawyers and in-house counsels.  Additionally, he teaches at the University of St. Gallen and researches and publishes in various areas of legal management.

Bruno Mascello was admitted in 1996 as attorney-at-law to the bar in Switzerland. He worked as a senior commercial attorney in a law firm in Zurich. Thereafter, he joined the legal function of an international insurance and finance group where he fulfilled various leading management roles in the worldwide legal function, which included the positions of Chief Operations Officer (COO) Group Legal, Regional General Counsel Middle East, General Counsel/Coordinator Legal Department Corporate Center and Head of Legal Procurement/HR/IT/IP.

Bruno Mascello studied law at the University of St. Gallen Faculty of Law and received a lic. iur. degree (comparable with masters of laws), a Dr. iur. degree (comparable with Ph.D.) and got appointed Adjunct Professor of Business Law and Legal Management. He also received a  master in laws degree (LL.M.) from New York University (NYU) School of Law. Further he completed an Executive MBA at the University of St. Gallen (EMBA HSG).

Today his focus of practice is mainly in providing business related legal advice to companies and private clients (Legal), providing strategic advice to legal departments and law firms in the area of legal management (Consulting) and providing assistance to, and coaching of managers of legal and compliance departments (General Counsels) (Management).
